Calendar of Events for The Bootmakers of Toronto, 2026

Our events feature both online story meetings and in-person social events. At the online story meetings we present scholarly papers, interesting and fun presentations, lively discussions, exciting guest speakers, a dastardly quiz and a Sherlock-themed song. In-person social meetings are a chance to get to know fellow Sherlockians and socialize with like-minded people. Some in-person events may include a fee or ask for a donation. They can include a number of different activities such as special speakers, presentations, games, readings, toasts, songs, giveaways, refreshments, etc.

We provide access to our online story meetings via our website, online newsletter and mailing list. In-person meetings are in the afternoon and located in the Beeton Auditorium at the Toronto Reference Library, admittance is FREE and open to the general public. Check here for changes and updates to our schedule.

Members will receive meeting notices via email. If you are not a member you can join our email list by request at meyerstoronto@yahoo.ca or join our Meetup group at www.meetup.com/Sherlock-Holmes-Society. For special events which charge a fee, click on Register Now (when displayed) in the Event column to pre-pay via PayPal, or pre-register by emailing Meyers.
