FEBRUARY TALK AND TEA
The February Talk and Tea of the Toronto-Hamilton Branch of the English-Speaking Union of Canada (an affiliated organization of the canadian Royal Heritage Trust) will take place on Wednesday, February 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the parish hall of Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue (Yonge Street, just south of Lawrence Avenue).
The subject of the talk will be “Motives for Malfeasance: Sherlock Holmes Discerns Among the Elements of Human Nature”, presented by Dr. Andrew Adkins. It will be a unique look at themes in the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous literary creation.
A full afternoon tea (sandwiches, scones, pastries etc) will be served.
Tickets are $25. Please make cheques for this event payable to the Canadian Royal Heritage Trust. Deadline for RSVP is 12:00 noon on Monday February 3rd.
